If your first trip outside of the United States was to Vietnam, not only were your lives in jeopardy, but you were in for a cultural shock. I’m not implying it was bad, but it sure was different from what we were used to. You have your own memories and experiences and I have mine. Click on the images, you may see some that you have stashed away.
There was a time when you could fold up a nickel and put it in your pocket. It didn’t jingle or rattle around with the dimes, quarters, and fifty-cent pieces. They also folded. These bills were collecting dust in a box of old photos. Click for a larger view.
